BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A fatal crash north of Homedale Friday morning closed US95 for several hours near Garnet Road.
The Idaho State Police report that an 18-year-old girl from Notus was traveling south on US95 when she crossed the center line and collided with a Peterbilt truck traveling northbound.
The female driver died at the scene. The driver of the Peterbilt, a 31-year-old man from Caldwell, was transported to a local hospital. The crash blocked US95 for nearly three hours as emergency responders worked to clear the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
